A Modern, Compassionate Approach to Mental Health Care in Logan, Utah
Reed Psychiatry was created with one mission in mind: to offer thoughtful, evidence-based mental health care that genuinely sees the whole person — not just symptoms on a chart. Our approach is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and deeply personalized. Whether you’re seeking clarity, stability, or a fresh start, we meet you exactly where you are.
Our Philosophy
At Reed Psychiatry, we believe:
1. Healing Begins With Understanding
You deserve a provider who listens — really listens. We slow down, ask thoughtful questions, and explore what’s beneath the surface so we can understand the full picture of your mental health.
2. Mental Health Is Whole-Person Health
Your mood, sleep, stress, trauma history, relationships, lifestyle, and environment all matter. We consider each part of your life when building a treatment plan that fits you as a whole human being.
3. Care Should Be Collaborative
We don’t dictate; we discuss. You’re involved in every decision, especially when it comes to medication. Our role is to educate, provide options, and help you make choices that align with your values and goals.
4. Evidence-Based Treatment, Human-Centered Care
We use the latest research, clinical guidelines, and structured assessments — delivered with warmth, respect, and compassion.
What Is a PMHNP?
A Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is a licensed, board-certified mental health provider who can:
Diagnose mental health conditions
Provide psychotherapy
Prescribe and manage medications
Order labs and coordinate care
Offer evidence-based treatment for conditions like anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, OCD, ADHD, and more
A PMHNP is trained to blend:
(1) medical expertise,
(2) psychology & behavioral science, and
(3) a holistic nursing model focused on the person, not just the condition.
This means you get psychiatric care that is both medically grounded and emotionally attuned.

Why I Started Reed Psychiatry
“I started Reed Psychiatry because I wanted to create the kind of environment I wish every patient could experience: calm, compassionate, and truly collaborative.
I’ve worked in high-volume clinics where patients felt rushed, unheard, or like they were just checking boxes. That never felt right to me. Mental health care should be personal. It should be human. It should give you space to breathe.
My goal is to slow things down, help you feel understood, and work with you to build a treatment plan that brings clarity, stability, and genuine improvement to your life.
If you’ve felt dismissed, overwhelmed, or unsure where to turn next — you’re in the right place. I’m here to help you make sense of what’s going on and support you every step of the way.”
