ADHD Evaluation & Treatment in Logan, Utah

New patient info

At Reed Psychiatry, I offer thoughtful, evidence-based ADHD evaluations and treatment for adults who are struggling with focus, organization, motivation, or emotional regulation. My goal is to help you understand what’s going on, get clarity, and create a treatment plan that actually improves your daily life.

A Comprehensive 60-Minute ADHD Evaluation — $250 (Cash Option Available)

Your evaluation includes:

  • A full psychiatric interview

  • Screening tools with the best available accuracy (e.g., ASRS, Conners, and supporting assessments)

  • Review of mental health history, medical history, and current symptoms

  • Rule-out evaluation for anxiety, depression, trauma, sleep, and other factors that can mimic ADHD

  • Review of functional impacts (work, school, home, relationships)

  • Personalized treatment plan and next steps

  • Medication education and therapy recommendations

If ADHD is not the full picture, we’ll make sense of what is contributing to your symptoms and build a plan around that.

Medication + Therapy: An Integrated Approach

ADHD often requires more than just medication.
At Reed Psychiatry, treatment combines:

  • Thoughtful medication management

  • Supportive therapy

  • CBT and ACT-based skills

  • Mindfulness techniques to improve focus and emotional regulation

  • Guidance for daily structure, organization, and routines

This creates long-lasting improvements—not just symptom relief.

Do You Prescribe Stimulants?

Yes.
When clinically appropriate, I prescribe stimulant medications at the first visit after a thorough evaluation.

Your safety is my priority, so I always evaluate:

  • CSD / prescription history

  • Substance use history

  • Cardiovascular safety

  • Potential medication interactions

If stimulants aren’t ideal for you, we’ll discuss non-stimulants or integrative options instead.

Follow-Up Schedule

Your follow-up timeline is designed for safety and success:

  • 2-week initial follow-up (to monitor response + side effects)

  • Monthly visits until medication and symptoms are stable

  • Every 3 months for long-term management

These can be in-person or telehealth, depending on your preference.
